Fear you’re not welcome here. The breakup song by Francesca Battistelli is a great anthem for those moments of fear that sneak up on us. It’s a reminder that we have the power to tell fear to leave.
for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. -2 Timothy 1:7
We don’t have to let it over take us every moment of every day. We have the choice to let ourselves be ruled by fear or to choose how we react to our feelings and refuse to let fear control us.
The Holy Spirit is not afraid and he lives in us. So either we choose to believe God is who he says he is and has proven he is or we choose not to believe and to let fear rule us. We have the power of choice. So are you choosing Jesus and what he paid for or are you choosing to let fear win?
