Resting in the presence of God is what gives us the trust to walk on water.
You wouldn’t do something deemed impossible without some sort of faith in the one who asked you. But where does that faith come from.
It comes from spending time with God, from resting in His presence. When we let everything melt away and surrender it all to God that is when he can give us his supernatural peace and joy. Learning to just being content to be with Him. Because we know Him, and we know His character. We can trust Him when He asks us to take those big leaps of faith that to others seem impossible.
