Even in the trials of life God has blessings for us.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
To find peace in the trials of life we have to keep fixed on Jesus, not our circumstances.
God always wants to bless us and provide all we need and more but if we get lost in our suffering we block him out. Look at the people in the Bible when they focused on God he provided; food from heaven, victory over oppression, miracle and miracle.
It’s only when we fix our eyes on God despite our suffering that he can be the peace beyond understanding and help us find joy.
