We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,
God does not ask us to go and bear fruit on our own. He provides us with knowledge, wisdom, understanding, strength, power, endurance and patience to do what he has called us to.
When we go out and do what God calls us to do he provides all that we need through the Holy Spirit. It’s when we try to do things on our own that we stumble and fall or achieve very little. But when we depend on him for wisdom , strength and direction he provides more then we asked for and produces way more then we ever could have on our own.
