God can teach us through anything if we let him.
During the Christmas season I focus on Jesus, but have some holiday classics I like to enjoy too. I love all the claymation Christmas movies and ‘The Year without a Santa Clause’ (1974) was running through my head this morning.
In the story two brothers are quarreling too much to be generous enough to help Mrs. Claus, so she turns to their mother ‘mother nature,’ and the two brothers decide to compromise and help Mrs. Clause.
Its easy to get caught up in our own stuff and the business of the season and let that influence us to spat with our family when things don’t go according to our plan.
But we can look to our heavenly father and ask him to help us to bring peace to our family instead of strife. Ask him to help you see life through his eyes and to fill you with his all surpassing peace.
